Frequent Freakers !!!

My first train journey: Delhi to Jodhpur

I was going to attend my friend Ritika's wedding in Jodhpur. It was first train journey of my life. On 16-Apr-2011, I was supposed to book my tickets, but i was not willing to travel alone, without friends company. I called all friends, those were going, But all had their tickets booked already. But Monika agreed to cancel her tickets and rebook with mine tickets.
But as 5-May-2011 approached, Monika's plan to go get cancelled, So i was had to travel alone.

My train was scheduled to depart at 8:55 PM, and at 8:30 i left my home with my brother on bike, I was without helmet ( Its law to wear helmet on bike). Two times Police tried to stop us, but i reached platform just 30 seconds before, scheduled depart time. OMG, i was gasping heavily. Time passed easily as some friends called me after catching the train.
Now i had 3 questions in my mind:
1. What i eat, i could not grab anything as was getting late to board the train.
2. How i will get to know about my station i.e. When to get out of the train, as this was A/C coach, no announcements.
3. How to protect my bag from stealing.

So i called Abhishek to take some biscuits, cake and drink before boarding the train at Gurgaon station. For second question he assured me our station is last one, so dont worry. For 3rd i managed to use my bag as pillow.

When i came back, tried to sleep, but two child's were making lots of noise, somehow i fell asleep, and suddenly my bed i.e. sleeping birth started moving. i got awake, and after that couldn't sleep :-(

In morning, train reached at Jodhpur station, here i met with 3 more people. Deepak, Rajia, and Charu. We all laughed on my story upto now. Rajeev, Ritika,s cousin bro came to pickup us at station.

Now i was in Jodhpur, The Sun City. But i felt it was cooler than Delhi.
We all enjoyed Ritika,s wedding fere , First of its kind for me. In evening we went to hotel, for reception and dance party. I was very happy for Riitka, she got married to a man she loves.

Now, i started felling the heat of Jodhpur.

Next day, Rajeev and Dhawni came to see off us at station. we all four me Rahul Abhi, and Charu boraded the train, now its a non-ac coach. A new experience again. we all chatted and palyed Antakshari till 2 AM, then i went to sleep. Rahul, Abhi and Charu were still gossiping and playing with Rahul's Andriod phone.

It was an awesome journey for me.

Kahani Rishikesh Trip ki ... mazza aa gaya

After our last trip to jaipur .. we all were so eager to have masti ... but all plans weren't getting executed ...
but Trip to Haridwar-Rishikesh-Tehri was executed as planned .

I was all set to leave from my home around 9 AM on 1st April 2010 in Toyota - Innova. Instead instructed driver to pick my friends from their places. Picked Rahul from Mahipalpur, then picked all Gaon-wallah from Gurgaon .. Ritika, Monika, and Abhishek .. then car came to my place around 11 am .. i got in with a great laughter.... i somehow managed to get a seat near Monika .. i pinched her a lot with my daily laughter doses.
Then we picked Amit from ISBT Metro station.... Now the group was complete ..

I was full of energy .. cracking jokes .. singing songs ...and leg pulling ... bas kya kahun .. mazza aa raha tha .... everyone thought i m drunk ... but it was effect of excitement ... that i had for last 7 days ....

All except me attended office that day .. so every one wanted a Garam Chai ki Pyali (Cup of tea).. we took a break at road side dhabha near Meerut ...... chai was very mast ... mazza aa gaya

Around 5 Am 2nd April 2010, we reached at Haridwar. We parked at newly constructed parking lot, by 20 minutes of walking we were at Har-Ki-Pauri .. ..

The Ganga jal was very cold, i was ready for Ganga-Snan. Then Rahul and Abhishek got encouraged and

All other Monika, Amit and Ritika did kaaua-snan (Dry bathe).

All excluding me and Rahul performed pooja ..with process.

Then we heaed to rishikesh

... the beauty mera tau dill hee gaya ...

We all were waiting for out Rafting Organizer to come, mean while we visited Laxman Jhula.

My Nandan, our rafting trip organizer came to welcome and we headed to camp.

Way to camp.
It was full fun going to Camp.. by walking down from road through jungle .. crosing river by Raft.

Nandan introduced me to Mr. Rana, camp organizer, he showed us our tents .. 6, 7 an 8.

We all settled in our tents, Rana called us to brief about activities and instructed us to wear safety-jackets before going into river.

All of us were hungry .. went for a breakfast... sabhi ne jum-ke-khaya. ... we did some rest after that ...

around 11 AM. Ritika and me were very excited for this tour. For last 4 hours there was only breakfast and rest.. so Ritika got in mixed mood of Angry and Sad .. and started saying you all are boring ...

Planning Rishikesh trip ...

For last four days, i had been searching information on rafting and trekking in Rishikesh.
I goggled everything regarding rafting ... where to stay , activities , rafting runs .. n charges as well.
n finally chose "Xenium India Tours" ..as they are providing better facilities and more activities .

We will leave Delhi/Gurgaon around 11 PM on 1st April 2010 for Har ki Pauri, Haridwar.
Around 6/7 will leave for Rishikesh
Our Plan is for 2 Days and 1 Night.
